- What is ManCrib.com?
ManCrib.com is a Website developed specifically for the “guy’s guy” who was previously left out in the cold when it came to finding the gifts he wants. Now he can look for gifts, develop a gift list, share with family and friends via a new online haven, ManCrib.com.
- What is a ManCrib?
In day-to-day living, a ManCrib is the last haven of manliness in the home. Usually the garage, den or basement, the ManCrib is a room where the man of the house can showcase and enjoy his most beloved items.
- How is it different from other registry sites?
ManCrib.com is first and foremost just about the guys, it was built for men and will never offer frilly gifts or kids’ toys. In addition, ManCrib users buy direct from the product manufacturer, with no middleman involved.
- Is ManCrib.com a secure website?
ManCrib.com is a secure website subject to the Whirlpool® brand’s strict privacy regulations and SSL protection. All registrants have the option to make their registry and shipping address public or private. You may also password protect your registry for additional security.
- What can I find on ManCrib.com?
ManCrib.com features man friendly brands like Gladiator® GarageWorks, Panasonic, Channellock, Steiner Sports, KitchenAid, Crocs, Whirlpool and Wayne Dalton to bring men the gifts they really want from workbenches to plasma TVs. The site will be adding more great partners, so check back often.
- Does it cost me anything to sign-up?
No. Setting up your ManCrib™ Registry is completely free.
- Will I be solicited by any of the partner companies after signing up?
Your opt-in during registration grants your approval to receive emails about new products from the Whirlpool ® Corporation only. When you visit a retail partner site, you’ll be subject to that site’s privacy policy and terms of use.
- How do I create a ManCrib registry?
You can create a ManCrib Registry by clicking on the “Build Your ManCrib Registry” link and following the step-by-step registration instructions.
- Can I print a ManCrib registry?
Currently, only your family and friends can print your gift lists. That function will be added in the future.
- What if I’ve forgotten my password?
If you have forgotten your password, click on the Log in to My ManCrib Registry link on the ManCirb.com main navigation. A log-in box will display and at the bottom left of that box will be a “Forgot Password” link. Clicking on that link will direct you to a page where you will be asked to enter the email address you used when you joined. You will then be emailed a link to reset your password.
- How can I email my registry?
Once you are finished creating your ManCrib Registry, simply click on the “Email Gift List” button at the top of you gift list where you will be able to enter one or more email addresses to forward your gift list to your friends and family. Make sure to include your shipping address in your email so they can use it to purchase gifts. ManCrib.com will not share your personal data other than your name and city, state for identification of your ManCrib. Also, if emailing more than one person, be sure to include commas between the email addresses.
- What do I do if I’d like to add something not listed on the site?
When creating your registry, simply click on “add offline gift” and follow the site’s directions. Be sure to include special information such as size or color in the notes section.
- How do I find a registry on the site?
Click on “Search for a ManCrib Registry” and follow the site’s directions. All public registries are also listed alphabetically by last name.
- Does ManCrib work on all web browsers?
Currently ManCrib.com works on all recently updated web browsers.
- Who do I contact if I’m having problems with the site?
Send an email to ManCrib@peppercom.com. We will do our best to fix the error in a timely manner.
- Who do I contact if I’m having problems with a purchase?
ManCrib.com is not responsible for your purchases. Please direct all inquiries to the specific retailer’s customer service department.
- Who owns ManCrib.com?
The site is brought to you by and generated by Gladiator GarageWorks a Whirlpool brand. For more information about Gladiator GarageWorks visit www.GladiatorGW.com.
- Why do I have to leave the site to buy products?
ManCrib is all about building a haven and community for men. We leave the sales to our partners.
- Does my registry update?
When a user clicks “BUY”, the registry asks buyers to automatically update as the item is bought. After being directed to the retail partner, the user is asked if they bought the gift; want to keep it a secret, etc. That information is then added to your ManCrib Registry.
- When buying shoes or items that come in colors, how can I ensure I get the items I want?
When purchasing shoes or colored items be sure to enter your size and color preference directly into your registry so friends and family know the details of your request.
- Are occasion dates mandatory?
Yes, even when you list “Just because I’m special” you must include an event date. We recommend inserting a date six to twelve months in the future to ensure maximum purchases.
- Can I use ManCrib.com outside the U.S.?
At the moment, the site is U.S. based, and only open to U.S. customers.
- Will you be adding more partners?
There is always room for more non-competitive, manly partners on ManCrib.com. Reach out to ManCrib@peppercom.com for more information.
- Can I advertise on ManCrib.com?
There are no advertising options available on the site at this time, but we are accepting non-exclusive retail partners.
- How do I become a ManCrib exclusive category partner?
You can receive more information about becoming a ManCrib exclusive category partner by sending an email to ManCrib@peppercom.com. Typically, ManCrib representatives will contact you within three to five business days.
- Does my registry have to be public?
All registrants have the option to make their registry and shipping address public or private. You may also password protect your registry for additional security.
